Alloy C276 is a nickel, chromium, and molybdenum alloy. The Hastelloy C276 is designed with excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance properties in various environments. These alloys also show resistance against pitting and crevice corrosion. The alloys from this grade can be hardened by Precipitation hardening, solid-solution hardening, and work hardening methods to give them enhanced strength. The Hastelloy C276 material is designed with good mechanical properties. They possess a minimum tensile strength of 601Mpa and a minimum yield strength of 204Mpa. This material allows the alloy to be easily machined and elongated.
